The day and night vision works well.-The camera and screens are good and clear. Note that even on the lowest brightness, the screen might be a little blinding at night.-Manual focus is okay, but an autofocus option would be better.-The zoom, brightness, and IR intensity settings work well.-Rechargeable battery, with a standard (i.e. non-proprietary) connector. As all batteries tend to lose capacity or fail eventually, I would have preferred an accessible/swappable battery.- The goggles have a 1/4 in. camera mount on the bottom for use with a tripod.- The included 32GB card is a nice inclusion.Bottom Line:In general, this is a good set of night vision goggles, with good features in general (i.e. video, resolution).
I am very happy with these night vision goggles for my first ever pair. I Have a chicken coop and a bear has been prowling around at night so purchased these to keep an eye on my hens. The goggles were super easy to set up just installed the batteries and removed stickers. There are multiple settings of different night vision type viewing. Easy to understand and use. Value for money and the quality is excellent in my opinion. Can see clearly in the dark. Arrived very quickly. I may suggest a pair or possibly even buy some as a gift around Christmas as they work very well!! Thanks
I’m a newbie with night vision optics, but I find the pictures I can take with these binoculars completely acceptable. I’ve included pictures of a couple of trees about 50 yards away in a gulch behind our house. One was taken around dusk and second, basically the same area after dark (during some light snow). Certainly, not the most interesting scenes, but enough to make me look forward to camping season when the night wildlife comes out.Because I generally expect to use these binoculars at night, buttons that are more easily distinguishable by feel would be nice; I don’t want to miss that once-in-a-lifetime picture while I’m trying to find the “shot” button. The texture of the buttons is somewhat different from the surrounding area of the binoculars, but I have to rub my fingers across the buttons to know if I’m touching the first, second, or third one. Certainly, with practice, it’ll become easier, but I doubt it’ll ever become automatic, like finding the brake and accelerator pedal on a car, unless I take a lot of nighttime pictures.
